Once again the Zen Arts crew delivered an amazing show for defense contractor Advanced Armament Corp’s Big Bang Party, held at the Voodoo Lounge atop the Rio Casino & Resort in Las Vegas. Co-sponsored by Maxim magazine, the party was a kickoff for the SHOT Show, an annual convention for the gun, hunting, and shooting sports industry.
Lucky attendees were treated to a tantalizing performance by the sexy Zen pole dancers, the fearless Zen fire dancers, and a variety of heart-stopping tricks put on by the Zen aerial silk and tissu performers.
For those of you who don’t know, the Voodoo Lounge is one of Las Vegas’ premier nightclub venues, boasting a panoramic view of the strip at over 51 stories high. Add a few stories on top of that for the brave Zen Arts performers, who twirled and tumbled high above the street below to put on a breathtaking show.
While Zen Arts provided the eye candy, guests were also treated to a raucous rock-fest by the all-girl AC/DC cover band Whole Lotta Rosies.

On December 10th Zen Arts was fortunate enough to be a part of Cirque Au Chateau, a charity event benefiting the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The event was held at the newly opened Chateau on Central, a luxury living community located in downtown Phoenix.
Attendees were treated to complimentary cocktails, gourmet food, and of course a great show by the Zen Arts crew! The combination of Zen fire dancers, Zen DJ Brion Charles’ chill-out tunes, and lethal libations like “The Chateau” cocktail, made for quite a sleek and chic start to the evening. Following was a magnetic performance by the talented Zen aerial tissu performers. And of course no evening would be complete without Zen’s own crazy cast of street characters, including a break dancing glam clown on stilts!
Just leave it to Zen Arts to turn a meaningful cause into a memorable event.
Zen Arts Sets Burning Man 2010 Ablaze

September 2010 saw a new addition to the week-long desert celebration of Burning Man: Zen Art’s own Circus Maximus!
The innovative Zen Art’s crew created their own multi-level, multi-functional performance structure in the Nexus camp (see the model here), and put on a show to rival any in the ancient arena of the same name.
For those of you unfamiliar, the Burning Man festival is an annual celebration of art, music, and community held every year in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert.
The festival consists of various manmade structures showcasing different kinds of electronic music, visual art, performance art, and of course the infamous uniquely-adorned, drug-infused, self-indulgent partygoers!
Circus Maximus flaunted some of Zen Art’s most spellbinding performances. The trapeze and aerial silk performers displayed astounding feats of agility and strength, soaring high above the awe-stricken cavorting revelers.
On the ground Zen Arts’ pole dancers, like the incredibly sexy Zoraya Judd, brought the desert heat to an inferno with their sensual and seductive pageantry of the pole.
And, as the night progressed, the Zen Arts fire dancers kept the heat going, illuminating a circus ring of ravers and pushing the party to the wee morning hours.
A new addition to the performances this year was that of professional ballerina Teanna Zarro.
Zen Arts’ own red-headed swan queen entranced and enchanted partygoers with her maiden performance for the Zen Arts company.
There are plenty more pictures, so be sure to check the Zen Arts Facebook page.
P.L.A.Y In The Jungle III

On July 18th, 2010 the lucky attendees of the 3rd Annual P.L.A.Y. in the Jungle Party were treated to some extreme aerial acrobatics, steamy fire performers, a beautiful mermaid and even a skydiving demo team, all provided by yours truly…Zen Arts!
P.L.A.Y., which stands for Providing Laughter and Amusement for Youth, is a charity organization that strives to provide toys, books, and games to underprivileged children.
The event, which changes locations annually, was held this year at the exquisite and expansive Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, California. And of course, besides just being a guilty pleasure, guests can rest assured that all their debauchery was for a good cause.
The day started with our crew building a massive stage and awesome aerial apparatus for our show. Seriously people! This thing is amazing! It allows for our aerialists to dangle precariously at over 500 feet in the air. Not to mention the zip line type cable that allows them to whiz back and forth at high speeds above the crowd, all while performing their impossible aerial maneuvers. Can your aerial troupe do that? Didn’t think so.
You really had to be there to enjoy it, but see our video below or visit our Facebook album for more pics.
The day might have started with our construction crew, but we kicked off the event itself with our skydiving team.
Our licensed skydiver’s gave everyone a show as they dropped in from a whopping 10,000 feet. With smoke grenades in tow, and twirling round, they couldn’t be missed as they hurled towards us.
If you’re interested in adding them to your next event, please email us or call 310-259-7462.
As the day progressed, our fire performers did what they do best. Whether with the hoop or the staff, it was a captivating display regardless.
There’s just something about the beauty and danger of fire dancing that audiences can’t get enough of.
And, there are plenty more pics from our fire performance, so don’t forget to check them out.
Our lovely mermaid garnered a ton of attention that day as well, as she sunbathed in the nearby lagoon.
It’s not every day you see a real-life mermaid, so of course, the admirer’s didn’t miss a moment.
Posing for pictures every now and then, she proved to be the celebrity of the day. Who knew mermaid’s have groupie’s too?
Another new edition to the Zen Arts squad is our sphere contortionist. Don’t ask us how she does it, because we don’t know. She’s just very very flexible.
Alas, there isn’t enough space in the world for us to write about how great the event was. You had to experience it yourself to really believe, but if you want to see more pics, go here, here, here and here.
Yelp L.A. Gets Elemental

Who knew geeks could party like this?…apparently Yelp did.
This past March, Zen Arts performed at one of Yelp’s many exciting parties. This time it was in Los Angeles at J Lounge restaurant and bar.
This year’s theme? Yelp L.A. Gets Elemental. Dedicated to the elements of life: water, fire, earth, air…and, of course, Yelp!
While the Yelp elite wined and dined on delicious food and drinks, Zen Arts adorned the backdrop with treats of our own.
Supplying one of those elements…air…to perfection that night with our aerial acrobats. As usual, we did not disappoint.
And, although we didn’t have any fire dancers at the event, you can see by checking out the photo on the left, that there was plenty of fire in the air.
As the event progressed, our gorgeous burlesque dancers garnered most of the attention, until our belly dancers wooed everyone away from them. And, just when everyone thought it was over, we let our snake charmer loose.
We laughed, we played, we performed. What else is new?
Oh yeah, we learned that geeks do know how to have fun…especially when Zen Arts is around.
Were you there that night? Check out our Yelp page to leave your reviews.

Zen Arts has done it again! Look out Vegas!
After searching through hundreds of the best entertainment companies around the United States, The Las Vegas corporate event planning division for Cyberplex was ecstatic to bring on Zen Arts performers for a production at one of the world renowned Playboy Fantasy Suites at The Palms Casino and Hotel. Although Hefner was not in attendance, Zen Arts had a blast!
The Zen Arts Los Angeles aerialists and trapeze artists were suspended above a gorgeous pool that jetted out over Las Vegas. The view was breathtaking, and the party was sexy.
The sultry Zen Arts burlesque dancers heated up the crowd with some of their seductive numbers. Zen’s dj’s kept the crowd going strong with their electronic beats, while the Zen Art’s contortionists put the audience into a spell. To perform in this suite must have felt magical and thrilling. PLAY II Jungle Pool Party

Zen Arts rocked the wildest (and wettest!) party of the year!
It’s summer time and pool parties are the best way to beat the heat in Los Angeles. So when the organizers of the P.L.A.Y. annual pool party fundraiser asked Zen Arts to perform, how could we resist? We love pool parties…especially when it’s considered the ‘best pool party of the year’.
The sprawling ranch located in the rolling hills of Calabasas was a perfect location to host one of the most popular parties of the summer. And what better way to support a great cause like P.L.A.Y. then with a playground for adults? This estate was perfectly equipped to handle 3000 people, with waterfalls, a water slide, a grotto, basketball and volleyball court (sand included), and a huge pool that puts other pools to shame. For this special event, named ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ the organizers pulled out all the stops by bringing in live elephants, tigers, lions, giraffes, monkeys, birds, and of course the hottest and wildest talent of Zen Arts.
Zen Arts worked closely with the owner of the house to build two 30-foot high trusses—one was even placed on the stage over the grotto. Zen Arts cirque performers were appropriately dressed for the occasion in original jungle-cirque fashion and finished off with tribal airbrush body and face detail, creating some of the hottest natives in the jungle. Zen Arts performances included aerialists, fire dancers, capoeira dancers and stilt walkers that took place on stage and throughout the grounds. Rrrrrraw!
P.L.A.Y. (Providing Laughter and Amusement for Youth) is a charity organization started by Larry Pollack restaurateur and owner of the famous Saddle Ranch Chop Houses located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, Universal City Walk, and Scottsdale and Glendale Arizona. P.L.A.Y.’s goal and mission is to provide children who are less fortunate in hospitals, group homes, and shelters, with books, toys, and games. P.L.A.Y.’s goal is to put smiles on children’s faces. The second annual fundraiser pool party was even more successful than the first, ensuring more smiles, and more pool parties to come. Zen Arts knows how to rock pool parties. Bring it.
