I’m only eleven years old, but since I have been training since I was four, I know many, many extremely advanced drops. I assure you it is great fun (ask anyone I know, I blab about it all the time) and is great exercise (Ugh, that took me forever to spell!) and once you do this, you will be addicted. It is AMAZING.

Hi Doug,
I just discovered ZenArts recently. I love your look and the great airbrushing and photos. I’ve just found a passion for silks/tissu. I’m in learning mode but hope to perform at some point. What is the eldest age of your female performers? I’m so inspired by seeing women older than myself flying on silks and traps.

Nice job on compiling my research on sword swallowing. Most of the information is correct. However, please correct your statement that “Even though there are no known recorded deaths from sword swallowing”, as we now know of at least 29 deaths from sword swallowing injuries over the past 150 years alone, with undoubtedly many more than that which have gone unrecorded. (You can find many of them at http://www.swordswallow.com/halloffame.php) And I would suggest that you not claim that there are “many” sword swallowers around the world today, as there are less than a few dozen actively performing professional sword swallowers in the world today, out of a world population of over 7 billion people, that would make sword swallowing still a rare performance art. But thanks for doing of nice job of compiling the info! Keep up the great work!
